Born in Madeira (Portugal). Living in Lisboa (Portugal). Medical doctor since 2000. Training in Psychiatry since 2005 with specialization in Psychiatry in 2010 and Consultant degree in 2017. Training in Sexology since 2005. Sexology Competence by Portuguese Medical Order Association in 2014. Coordinator of multidisciplinar Sexology team (Psychology, Psychiatry and Endocrinology) of Hospital Júlio de Matos (Lisboa) since 2022, where he started his training, now integrated in Saint Joseph’s Local Health Unit (Lisboa). Coordinator of multidisciplinary Sexual Diversity Clinic (Otorrinolaryngology, Plastic and Reconstruction Surgery, Urology and Gynecology) of Saint Joseph’s Local Health Care (Lisboa) since 2025, for adult people with experience of gender incongruence and sexual development disorder, for a more global care of this vulnerable populations. Working, training and practising for 20 years in Clinical Sexology in Gender incongruence, Sexual Dysfunction and Paraphilic Disorders. Integrating health care and knowledge with person-centered holistic approach, including also Nursing and Social service care. Promoting diversity, inclusion and sexual rights according to cientific Evidence based Medicine and Humanistic Hippocratic approach, including promotion of sexual and gender health literacy at a personal, family, community and social level.
