Jeff Kiesner is associate professor of psychology at the University of Padova, Italy. His current research focusses on female sexual health, including neurological and psychological correlates of genito-pelvic pain conditions (e.g., vulvodynia), and how the menstrual cycle influences changes in sexuality and physical and psychological symptoms. Before focusing his research, teaching, and community outreach on sexual health, his work focused on menstrual cycle health and social and affective development during adolescence. He is currently co-chair of the Scientific Committee and sits on the Board of Directors for the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health. He is also on the Committee of Psychologists and Psychiatrists for the Società Italiana di Andrologia e Medicina della Sessualità, on the Scientific Committee of the Comitato Vulvodinia e Neuropatia del Pudendo, and an active member of the International Society for Sexual Medicine and the European Society for Sexual Medicine. He is Associate Editor of Sexual Medicine Reviews.
