Emilio Rebbechi

Emilio Rebbechi is a doctor, specialist in the Clinic of Nervous and Mental Diseases, registered in the “Register of psychotherapists”. Until 2000 he directed the Psychiatric Services of the city of Bologna. He has taught Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at the Universty of Bologna, Ferrara, Chieti. He has dealt with problems of reduced consciousness, treating patients in various states of consciousness. From 1967 till today he has been interested in problems of occupational medicine, and, in particular, in the relationship between mental health and work (in recent publications he has written about suicides in the workplace). He has also dealt with issues relating to the development and health of children, carrying out, in collaboration, an experimental psychology course in a primary school in Bologna and publishing various books in response to children’s questions on topics such as fear, anxiety , sadness, fantasies, play (TJ Idee publisher). The scientific activity is documented by numerous reports at national and international conferences and by over 130 publications on psychiatric, health and work topics; for years he collaborated steadily with the Rivista Inchiesta (Dedalo editions).
